
Planned power outages
Prior to a planned power outage, we will send out a notification of this. The notification will include the date and time of the outage.
Sometimes we need to disconnect the power to perform necessary maintenance of the power grid. We work as quickly as possible and the power may be restored sooner than planned. In some cases, we have an unforeseen situation and the power outage takes longer than planned.
NOTIFICATION OF PLANNED POWER OUTAGE
Prior to a planned power outage, we will send a text message, email or letter to affected customers. This is normally sent seven days before the outage. It states the date and time of the planned outage. If you have not been notified, we are missing your contact information. It is the customer’s responsibility to update their contact information. You can enter this by logging in to my page.
WRONG PERSON HAS BEEN NOTIFIED
We send notifications of planned power cuts to the person registered with the grid rent. If the notification should be sent to someone else, this can be changed on my page.
WHEN WILL THE POWER COME BACK
In the notification of a planned power outage, you will find the start and end time of the planned outage. You can also find it in the outage overview. Zoom in on your area and tap on the planned stop. There you will find the estimated end time.
