Frequently asked questions
All customers are billed in arrears based on actual consumption and receive monthly invoices. Føre AS has a pass-through billing agreement (network fees and electricity on the same invoice) with the following electricity suppliers:
Kraftriket, Inc.
Fjordkraft AS
Vibb AS
Gudbrandsdal Energi AS
Notodden Energi AS
Customers with electricity suppliers other than those in the list above will receive a separate invoice for grid rent from Føre AS.
From December 1, 2021, you must give general acceptance for eInvoice
«Yes, thank you to everyone» to be able to receive invoices from companies that you have previously
not received eInvoices from. We therefore encourage all eInvoice customers to
enter into a «Yes thanks to all» agreement as soon as possible.
The change is made to make it easier for you to
pay your bills. With general acceptance, you will now receive eInvoices
from the first bill from companies that offer eInvoices. This means that you no longer
have to go to your online bank to register with the individual companies.
If there are individual companies that you do not want to receive
eInvoices from, you can easily opt out in online banking.
Meter reading is automatic for all customers with AMS meters.
Customers whose meters do not have a communication module must take a meter reading on the 1st of each month. The reading can be entered at https://kunde.foere.net/Touch/Login or reported by phone. 35 94 90 40.
Electricity from grid owner
Customers who have not signed an agreement with an electricity supplier will receive electricity from the grid owner. This has been decided by the Norwegian Water Resources and Energy Directorate (NVE). The price for this delivery obligation (also called the waiting tariff) is determined by NVE.
The waiting tariff consists of Nord Pool’s monthly average price in the spot market plus a surcharge of 5 øre/kWh (excl. VAT). After 6 weeks, this changes to a surcharge of 8 øre/kWh (excl. VAT).
You can find an overview of all electricity suppliers and compare prices at www.strompris.no
