Personal data is information that can be linked to you as an individual.
Føre AS focuses on safeguarding and protecting our customers’ privacy. We process personal data in accordance with the legislation in force at any given time, including in accordance with the Personal Data Act and the Personal Data Regulations.

This privacy policy describes what personal information we receive and collect when you order and use services from Føre AS, as well as what we do to protect personal information. You should familiarize yourself with the content of this privacy policy. By ordering and using our services, you agree that we process personal data in accordance with this privacy statement and the framework established by the applicable legislation at any given time.

1. PROCESSING RESPONSIBILITY
Føre AS is responsible for the processing of personal data in connection with all services provided by Føre AS.

2. PURPOSE OF PROCESSING PERSONAL DATA
Føre AS registers personal data about our customers (including landowners with whom we have an agreement) in order to identify the correct customer at our facilities so that delivery, customer processing, invoicing and collection of outstanding amounts can be carried out in a correct and secure manner.

3. PROCESSING BASIS
By ordering services from Føre AS and when a customer relationship/agreement is established, the customer consents to Føre AS collecting, registering and processing personal data in accordance with this privacy statement. The Regulations on metering, settlement, invoicing of grid services and electrical energy, the grid companies’ neutrality, etc. define what information must be registered when creating a grid rental agreement.

4. WHAT PERSONAL DATA DO WE PROCESS AND WHERE DO WE GET IT FROM
Føre AS processes the personal data you provide when you register with us and information that you voluntarily provide in other ways, such as information about your name, address, e-mail address and mobile phone number.
In addition, Føre AS continuously collects and processes information about your customer relationship with us, such as information about electricity consumption, customer history and metering point ID.
Some parts of our website www.foere.net use cookies. On pages that require login (My page), information about who you are will be stored so that you do not have to enter who you are the next time you visit the page.
We also collect anonymous information about what individual users do on our pages. We do this in order to improve our services. We do not use cookies to collect sensitive personal information. You can make changes to your browser and block cookies at any time. By blocking all cookies, you may lose access to parts of our website.

5. COMPILATION OF PERSONAL DATA
Føre AS reserves the right to compile your personal data with personal data from other customers and information from other sources. Such compilation will always take place in anonymized form, and may, for example, form the basis for advice on your energy use. It is conceivable that Føre AS will use the compiled information as a basis for planning network maintenance.

6. RETENTION, STORAGE AND DELETION OF PERSONAL DATA
We store personal data in accordance with current legislation and at all times have measures in place to ensure the requirements for confidentiality, accessibility and integrity.
Your personal data will only be stored for as long as Føre AS has a legitimate need to do so, and in any event no longer than what follows from the legislation in force at any given time. When Føre AS no longer has a legitimate need to store personal data, the information will be deleted or anonymized.

7. DISCLOSURE OF PERSONAL DATA
We will not disclose personal data relating to you or anyone in the same household to third parties, except when disclosure of the personal data occurs:
a. With the consent of the person to whom the information relates,
b. Pursuant to a law or regulation issued pursuant to a law,
c. By order of a court or other authority, or
d. As part of the collection of payments, etc. where there are objective reasons.
However, the duty of confidentiality does not prevent Føre AS from making the aforementioned personal data available to the companies that, by agreement with Føre AS, are responsible for the technical or administrative operation of our services.
When we provide personal data to companies as mentioned here, we ensure that these third parties comply with Føre AS’s requirements for the processing and use of personal data in relation to the legislation in force at any given time.
Føre AS may also give third parties access to accumulated and anonymized data.

8. YOUR RIGHTS
You have the right to access the information that Føre AS has registered about you at any time. You may also demand correction and deletion of personal data in accordance with applicable legislation.

9. REVISION OF THIS PRIVACY POLICY

 We may change this privacy statement if the processing of personal data changes, or revision is deemed necessary due to changes in laws or regulations issued pursuant to law. Føre AS will make any changes clearly visible, but we generally recommend that you read this privacy statement at regular intervals when visiting our websites. Last revised in April 2022 in connection with a new name.
